Pigeon Pose is one of the most ubiquitous yet polarizing poses in yoga. Some students love the deep hip opening and release, while others avoid and dread it. Pigeon is an incredibly versatile pose - small tweaks can change the area where the stretch is felt. It can be very yin - a pose to surrender into but it can also be a very strong and dynamic pose - depending in the variation.
If you love pigeon, you will love this class as we work through over 10 different variations of pigeon.
