Embracing yoga is like finding the owner’s manual for our bodies and minds.
Sometimes it feels like life is too busy, too crazy or too challenging. How can we stop the tail-spin and learn to find balance, inner peace and contentment?
This workshop will teach us how our breathing connects to our emotions and how changing how we breathe can change how we feel. We will explore some yoga poses - some that help us relax and others that make us feel more alert and focused. Finally we will explore meditation. Meditation calms the mind which improves our ability to learn new things, feel confident and safe. Working with breathing, yoga postures and meditation together provides the key to unlocking emotional balance and self regulation.
This workshop is geared towards children age 7-11 years old.
